So far I've gone three times and each time I've had an amazing experience. I've always gone alone and never felt alone. My last visit I was feeling down so I drove to St. John Indiana with hopes of getting in a better mood. I knew I was not able to do the long walk, and I had not called in advance for a golf guided tour.
When I arrived, I asked the woman at the counter if she could see if I could pay to ride a golf cart. This wonderful woman talked the other guide into allowing her to drive me alone behind her tour group because she felt God sent me there and they needed to help one of God's own. Not only did I get to ride on a cart, the unknown group members in the front cart and the staff hugged me as I stopped and cried along the way. There is no cost to walk the tour and the golf tour is well worth it, and I believe it was a very small amount. The people that you will meet are so warm, compassionate and kind. I always leave feeling great.... The store gift shop you can be there for hours trying to figure out what to purchase. So much of a selection.... The way I feel when I'm getting ready to leave, also puts me in a giving spirit, so I usually put a donation amount in the container to give. There is a recorded story at each of the scenes during the tour. This is a place to go to remind you of the purpose of life. Even the birds seem to love watching the people walking along the path. It's beautiful there and something different to see each time you go. I do feel God's arms around me each time I visit. The staff is great!

I brought my grandchildren with me. This was the first time for all of us. A nice walk with the Stations of the Cross. Peaceful and prayerful. Gift shop is over the top.

Very beautiful and peace filled environment. The sculptures of Jesus, his accomplishments and of the gospel were immaculate. An emotional and freeing experience. Glory be to God! 💛

I took my grandson here as he recently made his first communion. It was beautiful and I'm glad we went. I would have given 5 stars but some of the pre recorded messages were difficult to hear over the near by weed wacks and lawn care equipment.

A Holy place to visit, a personal experience for an individual. A quiet place for individual to reflect on the Lord. Not a place for kids to run around, however they have a beautiful open kids area! I highly recommend that area for children.

This place is amazing. Very relaxing. Plenty of places to stop and rest.

This place is one of the best shrines that I have ever been to. The pictures do not tell the whole story because the experience includes music, storytelling, and a natural setting. My family went on a pilgrimage through Indiana and stopped here because "outdoor stations of the cross sounds cool." We severely underestimated how cool this place would be. We were blown away by this shrine!

Very nicely laid out to tell the story of Jesus. Few of the speakers along the path need fixed. Alot of stuff in the gift shop.

It's a great place for churches to come too. All about the BIBLE. 🙌🏾

Wonderful display of the station of the cross. I enjoy listening to the short Bible story of each station and the tie in to you life at the end. Just a relaxing stop.

My second time taking a youth group to the Shrine of Jesus Christ. This is an incredible place. One, it's FREE! Two, it's open 7 days a week. Now the atomsphere and ambiance of the shrine is an experience like none other. You are literally retracing the steps of Jesus last days. It starts at the Last Supper, Garden of Gethsemane, judgement at Pilate's palace, etc. It's a place that's quiet, serene. You can meditate, reminisce and reflect on His sacrifice and journey to save us from our sin. They have a terrific gift shop and a theater . If you are a believer or just want to experience, this is the place.

Personal tour with no guide. Enjoyed walking along the trails at own pace. Not overly crowded when we (x4) did own tour ( weekend after Memorial Day).

Self guided tour of Christ's Passion. Wear good walking shoes, take a drink with you. We didn't make it to the Ten Commandments or Guadalupe.

Such an awesome place to visit and enjoy the steps that Jesus took. I will be back to complete the entire process. We only made it to station 8.
