I can feel the Love ❤️ that was demonstrated from Jesus. This is must place to see and experiencing The Holy Land ba k in time. I would.also recommend the Upper Room that's right above the gift shop. I had my mother prize birthday party and church events. The staff members are very nice and Paul always take great care of me.. This is wonderful place to introduce Christ and win souls . People are amazed and lives are transformed . Thank you Jesus for this place.

This was a great experience for my family. We spent 3 hours here walking through the Stations of the Cross, Moses and the 10 Commandments, Our Lady of Guadalupe plaza, the family plaza, and the two gift shops. Each station has a column that you can press a button and it will play a short audio talking about the station.

Love this place, back in the 1980’s I use to go there when the original statue of Mary stood and there was absolutely nothing there I would sit on the bench late at night and just contemplate. Amazing how much is built up , just a reminder how important Christ is. You leave knowing that he is all around us.

This place is always a great place to see and experience, and I would suggest it to anyone whether you're hardcore religious or not. It's a sight you won't forget soon and will probably tell your friends and family about later, and if you or one of your group members has problems walking they have wheel chairs as well

They have done a fantastic job at displaying the stories. The gift shop is immaculate, it has so much more than trinkets it has beautiful art. Even if you are not of Christian faith, I highly recommend taking this beautiful walk!

Loved it, me and my group had a great time. Nice variety in the gift shop, and the trail is pretty long and has lots of statues. We went when there was a ton of snow on the ground so everything was very pretty. My only gripe is the fact that it’s so commercialized, the gift shop is mandatory when you go in and out. I understand it’s a no-profit thing, but it’s a little funny that right after you witness the ascension you’re bombarded with hallmark statuettes that cost $500. But still a fun experience! Will be going again in the summer.

I absolutely love this place!! I/We visit, at least, once a year, and it NEVER gets boring/old! Each stop, during The Prayer Walk, is amazing, beautiful, and emotional! We rented a Club Car. Our tour guide, Dave, was AWESOME!!! You can feel his emotions while he describes each scene. And, adds his own knowledge of The Word. My only criticism is the customer service when calling. It took me a few days to reserve a club car. Other than that, thank you, Mr. Schilling and family, for your vision and for executing that vision! 💜

Beautiful! Peaceful! Calming music plays as you tour the beautiful sculptures. There's a bench at each spot to rest. Each sculptures has a button to push to tell you a story of that particular scene. Brought me to tears a couple of times. No charge, donations only.

We visited in a spot of the moment whim, but we're blown away by the the artistry and craftsmanship of the whole experience. Whether you are religious or just appreciate religious sculpture, this venue is well worth the visit, especially for the price (free). Be prepared for a walk though. It looks small from the parking lot, but it's bigger than it seems.

This is an awesome place to visit. All religious denominations are welcome to walk the path . Make sure you do not miss Moses receiving the 10 Commandments. It's an easy walk on the path to see all of the stations of the cross. Awesome gift shop too!

Everything was amazing. I visited with my three children and they took pictures. I love the visual arts to help bring this story home my children aged 6,7, and 15 we all in awe as we followed the prayer trail. I will visit again by myself my children kept interrupting my prayers. Also it’s free they only ask for donations via a small box so please look for the donation box and donate before you leave. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Word's don't really do this magnificent place justice; it's all about what you experience while you're there. I fell in love with this place about 6 years ago, it's peaceful, beautiful, serene, magical, and the presence of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is alive and well there. I thank God for whomever came up with thr idea to create this marvelous place, I thank God for the staff as well. No matter what you're going through, how you're feeling, when you start to walk on the Prayer Path it will leave you before you enter back into the gift shop! Thank you all for the wonderful experiences and may God continue to richly bless you and continue to build and create more Biblical scenes and tell the stories.

I work for Wintrust’s travel group Platinum Adventures & we brought a group of 26 people to the Shrine. To say it was a moving experience would be an understatement! The staff is amazing & so knowledgeable making the experience that more meaningful! The gift shop is second to none with such a large variety of items. I go on lots of trips & I can say I’m excited to plan another trip back soon!

This is a great place to visit. my husband and I have visited more than once. We are Protestant but this is the shrine of Jesus Christ. no matter what denomination you are if you know Jesus or love Jesus visit this place.
It allows you to go back into time and walk the road of Via Dolorosa with Jesus Christ..
When you reach the end and see him on the cross, the emotions is so strong is like being in the presence of the Lord.
The Ascension scene is very emotional and touching. If you love the Lord; you need to go see the shrine. Churches need to take field trips, Sunday Schools to the shrine.
You will not leave there feeling the same way that you did when you came.
I knelt with Jesus in The garden of Gethsemane. So very close to the real thing that you feel the spirit of God.
The same way when you feel the spirit as you read the word and get into the word.
I believe this place was ordained by the Lord
